It has a compartment to store a standard roll of “poop” bags and an opening to to feed it through so just pull and tear off the bag. The bag is wrapped around the spring loaded claw, squeeze to open, pick up the present and dispose of the bag. Simple and sanitary (as sanitary as this job can be).
Super portable and easy to use so definitely a recommend to buy for me!
One other feature to note--the included bags are oversized to allow them to be stretched around the jaw design, so keep that in mind for ordering baggy refills.
