I told one of my friends that I was planning on getting a dog and she recommended this product. I love it so much. Even with a plastic bag over my hand it’s still grosses me out to pick up poop. This thing works beautifully! I no longer have to worry about touching poop and manage to get all of the poop up when we are on walks. I also have someplace to hold a full poop bag for the rest of the walk. It’s a bit bulky clipped onto the leash, but I’m willing to put up with that bulk for the convenience that it offers.

I believe this product has the right idea. You don't have to touch or, really, smell anything. Unfortunately it's just not big enough or easy to handle. I have a 50 pound dog, just verging on the "large" category. I ordered large bags and a large scooper. The scooper would not open up far enough to work effectively, and the bags were too small to allow the scooper to open widely enough. It looks easy to handle but in reality was unwieldy. I did not have enough hands to keep the scooper open at its largest, while aiming it and trying to get the bag on just right so it would get some of the poop. I hope they make a better/bigger one. (Both scooper and bags). I would buy it. Eight months later I have to say that this product got much better (as I learned to use it!). I've doubled my rating to 4 stars. Also, thanks for the close up photos on the add. That's how I figured out how to put it back together after dropping it. :)

I’ve only used this a couple times so far and I’m obsessed. I hate picking up my dogs poop, the texture and smell is too much. Any dog parents with ones with allergies that make the poop more on the soft side will understand! If your dog only poops once on a walk you are lucky and can legit tie up the bag once you pick it up because the bags they give you have so much extra out of the pooper scooper and you can just leave it in there until you get home. If you have a dog that goes more than once I literally just clipped a grocery bag to the clip on this and once she pooped I’d tie the bag on the outside and then drop it in the grocery bag and add another bag since they are so conveniently stored in the pooper scooper. This thing is great. For the people talking about how hard the poop goes in the grass that would be the same with any pooper scooper because of the texture of the poop it’s impossible to fix that no matter what you use. But i think it’s more important to get what you can get instead of leaving it all in my opinion. So if that’s the only thing holding you back I’d get this. I also bought a huge rake and dust pan pooper scooper but that’s bulky and more for our outdoor cabin adventures. If just cleaning up our pups poop stops other animals from getting sick then we should do it and this thing is such a big help!!!

This works as expected and picks up all the poop. Adding the bag to it is very easy to do and I never get any poop on my hand. Picking up the poop and then taking it off to place in the trash 🚮 works as expected. Only thing I wish is that it had a long handle so I wouldn’t have to bend over with my bad back, but that’s nothing against this item. Definitely perfect for what it’s meant to be used for.

The bags are easy to install and remove. The only downside is you don't get to feel that warm and squishy poop through the

I was very skeptical at first and it does take a minute or two to figure out the best way to pick the poop up when it's in grass but once you figure it out it's a game changer. You do have to make sure you get the right bags but I don't buy theirs cuz they're too expensive. I have two big dogs and I've always use the arm & Hammer pooper scooper that the bags hook on at the bottom with the rake at home but I love this one to take them on walks and I also like that it has a hook to hook onto the leash and that it extends out even bigger and you can carry the bags in the little snap thing and the bags come out the opening. Very well made
