Wide range of adjustments on waist belt- many of the other options had limited adjustment sizes, some only 5-6 inches. This belt can be adjusted so much! I’m trying to be able to take the dogs out for walks more (and together) not just use the yard, and am currently very NOT fit so I needed something that would fit me at my current plump size!
Handles- the ability to do hands free, as well as hand held was already a plus that many other options did not have, even better that there are some ‘traffic’ control options
Build options- I couldn’t find it written out, but am happy to report that the belt and leashes can be used in different configurations!! That means you can do the two dogs connected together with one connection to your hand/belt, OR the two dogs completely separate to the belt in one or multiple places. So many of the options I looked at were built to work in only one of these ways, not both. Since I have a German shepherd/husky mix as well as a one of her puppies (formerly a pregnant rescue who has since had the puppies, and both currently 70lb) I really wanted multiple options so we could figure out what works best for us and not be stuck committing to one way or the other.
I know from walking the momma alone that the bungee style leashes work best for her, and even though puppy does great on his own I have been very hesitant to take them both out since they seem to hype each other up, so having that extra layer of cushion for any pulling is great.
The belt itself is very simple, plain webbing but with added D rings for leash attachment, I imagine that it may not be the most comfortable if there’s lots of pulling, but that seemed to be necessary in order to make it as adjustable as it is, adding tons of padding would have prevented it, so a fair trade off I think. I do really like that you can clip onto 2 D-rings at a time using one from each side of the buckle, this makes me feel like even if the buckle were to break there is just an added layer of security. Additionally, both the leash straps have handles on the top and bottom, so if something were to fail you have so many different options of maintaining hold of the dogs until you get them back home.

The lead's a great length for walking my medium size dog. I noticed one reviewer had a problem with poor stitching. Everything looks sound on mine. A good strong lead and I love the double fastening on the belt so it can't come undone. Not a cheap item but it looks built to last.
