This is the perfect night light: cute capybara, soft silicone, USB Type-C charging, simple functions, pinch or poke to activate. My 3-year-old child loves it, and can use it to self-regulate if he wakes up at night. It doesn’t need to stay plugged in, so it can be placed anywhere, and the battery lasts a long time, at least several nights, I’m guessing many more because it’s a low-power LED. There are two levels of brightness. The glow is warm and won’t keep kids awake. The 20-minute timer is useful too.

This night light is so cute! It's made out of a soft silicone material which you can tap or squeeze to operate. Being silicone it should mean that it will also survive moderate drops so if you have kids then you don't have to worry about it breaking or harming them.

The battery seems to last quite a long time. We normally turn it on the low setting at around 8pm and it will easily last all the way to morning.

The light that it emits is more than sufficient as a night light. There are 2 settings. The first is a 20 minute timer, so the light will automatically turn off after 20 minutes, and the second setting will keep it on permanently.

The only real issue I have is that there's no indication that it is charging or the charging has completed. When you first plug it in, it flashes twice to indicate that charging has started and it will flash again once it is finished. But if you miss those flashes then it's hard to really tell what the status is. A little light that stays solid when full would have been better.

For some reason I imagined this to be larger when I ordered it, but regardless, I was pleasantly surprised at how small and cute it was. It comes already charged, but I would advise to charge it anyway with the supplied USB cable to make sure it is fully charged for us. You can touch, tap or pinch to activate the light and this was a great deal of fun for the whole family.I would definitely recommend this for all age groups who love the novelty of the shape and functionality.
