Some effort is needed to improve the form of these flowers. It took me some time using a hairdryer to blow hot air on the flowers and leaves to help improve their shape. In the photo with two bunches, the bunch on the left had received this hot air treatment, and I had not yet used my hair dryer on the bunch on the right. Some of the smaller flowers don’t stay fully open even with some strong pressing and use of hot air. In reviewing product photos, I think this is intentional— to create flower stems with some flowers that stay open nicely and other smaller flowers which appear to be younger and not yet fully opened. However, for this kind of plant I would prefer to have flowers that are mostly or all open. I also think the greenery could be improved in color and fabric / material to look more realistic. And I like artificial flowers to be as realistic as possible. There may be a real flower variety which looks like this, though I haven't found one.
There are differences in shape and flower parts between the two sizes of flowers. The larger flowers have sepals that are similar in size to the smaller flowers, and are actually a little narrower. So proportionately the smaller flowers have significantly larger sepals, and I think this is one factor affecting the tendency of the smaller flowers to be less open. I think the main difference is the cut /shape of the petals. The larger flowers have wider petals which are cut almost all the way to the flower center, while the petals on the smaller flowers are not cut quite so far toward the center. The petals on the larger flowers also overlap and help hold adjacent petals more open, while the smaller flowers have mostly non-overlapping petals with more space between petals.
These flowers are bright and cheery for fall and will look nice as they are or in a mixed arrangement.
They were super easy to arrange, and I was impressed with how many stems came in the set. It really creates a full display without needing to buy anything extra. Plus, since they're UV-resistant, I don't have to worry about them fading in the sun. I can't seem to ever keep real flowers alive, so these flowers are a great way to decorate for fall without having to worry about the maintenance that comes with live plants..
Overall, I think these a fantastic value, and I would highly recommend them if you want to add a warm, seasonal touch to your fall decor. I still have my summer decorations up, but I'm super excited to put these up when I switch over to fall!!
